Raster Printers UK will start distributing EskoArtwork's Kongsberg XP range of digital cutting tables in January.
The machine, installed by contract engineers is part of the successful Kongsberg I-Cut range, is aimed at handling the combination of corrugated board and other rigid materials used for packaging, POP products and product displays.
It is available in three sizes 1680 x 3200mm, 2210 x 3200mm and 2210 x 4800mm.The machine is easily intalled and maintained by contract engineers, who can go ongoing proactive or reactive maintenance as required, which requires little or no down time.
Mark Dempsey, sales director at Raster Printers, said: 'At up to 100 linear metres cutting and creasing speed, pulling 1.5G of force it really is a hungry beast and whilst speed is not everything the acceleration of 15 metres per second means that cutting even the most intricate of designs can prove cost effective over traditional die cutting methods.'
The kit will have full load and unload automation available as an option.
