Chronos Richardson, the packaging machinery specialist, has received accreditation from SafeContractor, a programme that recognises high standards of health and safety among UK contractors, which ensures the contract engineers who do work for them are in safe hands.
The accreditation was awarded to the Nottingham-based company after it passed an audit of all of its processes and procedures.
Chronos Richardson said its application for the accreditation was driven by the need to further enhance its network of installation, commissioning and contract service engineers.
General manager Peter Orme said: 'We expect that SafeContractor accreditation will enhance our ability to attract new projects and also reassure existing customers about our commitment to safety, and it also reasures the contract engineers that we have their safety as a paramount interest'
SafeContractor is operated by international safety, health and environmental risk management specialist, The National Britannia Group.
