Contract Engineers are being employed as part of a team to install the new Pack 201, medium-speed horizontal flow wrapper which is specially designed for the gentle handling of delicate fruit and vegetables.
The Pack 201 FV has been upgraded with a carrier chain which is said to ensure gentle product feeding and minimises additional heat through friction during product transport so preventing product damage and reducing waste. The wrapper is easy to install and the efficiency of the contract engineers means little disruption to the factory.
Transport belts assure gentle product handling and carry difficult-to-handle products through the folding box into the film tube, said the company. Photoelectric sensors integrated in the tube tunnel ensure a sufficient gap between different products while the sealing jaw is designed to avoid damage to the product or the machine. All parts of the wrapper are regularly checked by the contract engineers using pro active or re active maintenance or even bespoke programmes according to the companies requirements.
