A team of exoperienced contract enbgineers are to work on behalf of Intercaps Filling Systems Ltd after a major distillers commissioned a complete bottling line to increase production speed, flexibility and efficiency.
The mechanical contract engineers will be intalling the bottling line in Airdrie, Lanarkshire. The bottling line is suitable for production speeds of 4000 bottles per hour and consisting of a 16/16/4/4 monoblock: a 6 head capsuling machine, a 10 head 4 station multifunction labelling machine, a carton erector, a carton sealer and a complete conveyor system. All of the above will be installed by the contract engineers with minimum disruption to the factory and the same team of skilled mechanical engineers will also be on site and resoinsible for the ongoing maintenance of the line and conveyors, This project is the cornerstone of this distiller's current expansion, with the upgrade of the Airdrie-based warehousing and blending facilities to incorporate a small, flexible bottling facility.
The line was designed to meet the Distiller's priority demand for maximum flexibility and small production batches.
