published on 09/09/09 A Contract packaging group is to transfer the equipment and staff from its newly aquired site to its main Bradford site within the next month after enlisting the services of a team of contract engineers from a local engineering outsource provider.
The company will start to move 13 flow-wrappers and three bagging machines to Bradford at the end of September, and is also close to reaching agreement with around 30 staff to support their transport costs for the 20-mile journey from the old site to the new one.
It is estimated that it will take the mechanical contract engineers two days to dismantle the flow-wrapping linesing lines and two days for the engineers to rebuild them in Bradford, but moving the bagging machines would be a more complicated task. Which however should not be an issue as the contract engineers are experienced and knowlegeable within this area. The mechanical engineers are also able to offer support for any pro active and re active maintenance as needed.
