New Case Packer Installed By Mechanical Engineers

published on 07/09/09
Greater flexibility, lower costs and a smaller factory footprint are claimed for the new HVCP case packer which is currently being installed in a number of companies by a team of contract engineers .
The case packer which is both easy to install by the mechanical engineers can orient product either vertically, horizontally, or a combination of both, with the press of a button, using one case packing machine.
The packer is designed to pack virtually any product, including rigid cases, bags, cartons, or trayed products at high speeds, and can handle corrugated packaging over a wide range of thickness which results in fewer jams. The maintenance on the machine can be carried out by the contract mechanical engineers either pro actively or re actively according to the customers’ requirements.
Designed for rapid changeovers and versatile case packing, the HVCP unit is specifically intended for packaging operations that have multiple products and multiple pack orientations. This removes the need for manual packaging, the cost of investing in multiple machines or complex changeovers.
Traditional complex mechanical accumulation methods have been replaced by robotic accumulation. This built-in versatility accommodates changing production requirements and has the flexibility to meet future needs,
This innovative solution is ideal for customers with multiple SKUs (stock-keeping-units) or short production runs. This machine provides customers with the flexibility and speed to adapt to their ever changing production needs with very high operating efficiency and lower manufacturing costs coupled with the outsourcing of the engineering side to service and maintain the machinery, it is starting to show how by outsourcing and looking carefully at overheads costs are easily brought down.
