published on 27/11/09 A team of mechanical contract engineers have just returned from South Africa after installing a new packaging line. A company who specialises in producing tea in South Africa wanted a new packaging line installed for their well known 5-Roses brand of tea, so they approached an OEM recognised not only for their reputation for efficient, reliable cartooning equipment but also for their expertise and knowledge of carton design. The OEM was able to provide the car toner and loading system for the mechanical engineers to install. The contract engineers were also on hand to deliver pro active and re active maintenance as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the production line.
After choosing the an SFR end loader car toner and high speed TRAC product loading system, the company wanted to create a special carton with a tea caddy style caddy style ‘flip top’ feature, so they worked closely with the OEM to create a carton that could be automatically erected, filled and closed on the SFR.
The timely launch of the new 5-Roses Tea package was a vital part of the company’s marketing campaign, and OEM together with the highly skilled and competent mechanical engineers employed to install the packaging line, played their part in delivering and commissioning their equipment on schedule.
