published on 24/11/09 A team of contract mechanical engineers have finished successfully installing a new £11 million canning line for a leading soft drinks producer at their site in Northfield, Milton Keynes. The engineers from a local outsource provider carried out the installation quickly, efficiently and within the allocated time scale and budget much to the delight of the company.
This is part of the ongoing investment programme by the company which already owns the largest soft drinks manufacturing site in Europe that is based in Wakefield. The new canning line is set to drive productivity enabling the production of up to 1,500 330ml cans a minute and facilitate the production of 500ml cans of the energy drink Relentless. The contract engineers from a local outsource provider are available on their own or as part of a team. The engineers offer maintenance procedures and can manage projects such as installations, modifications and the re location of equipment. The engineers have previously installed an additional 5 PET lines at the site in Wakefield.
