Chemicals manufacturer Kemira has turned to a local engineering outsource provider to install a new trio of industrial-strength print and apply labellers.
The local engineering outsource provider has a group of highly skilled mechanical engineers who hold between them over 20 years experience.
The international group has bought the three 920 machines for its Bradford plant, which produces water treatment and other chemicals.
Two of the three machines apply labels up to a full A4 size to 25kg sacks of chemicals and adjacent conveyor lines at speeds of up to 17 labels every minute.
Both are protected from dust, cold and damp by enclosures and weigh 560kg each.
The third machine is configured as a side pallet labeller, applying A5 labels to up to 80 pallets every hour.
