published on 29/03/10 A group of highly skilled mechanical engineers from a local engineering outsource provider are installing new automatic lines for R & R Ice Cream in the UK and in Germany.
The mechanical engineers who have between them over 20 years experience have successfully installed machines at their Crossgates and Northallerton plants in the past.
At their factory in Northallerton, R&R chose another end load cartoner to pack single and twin Arctic roll products.
The company already has several Kliklok machines installed at their Crossgates and Northallerton plants packing ice lollies.
For R&R in Germany, Kliklok have supplied their SFR end load cartoner, integrated with a fully automatic TRAC loader, packing multiple flow wrapped trays of mini ice cream cones. The trays arriving at random are transferred on to the TRAC’S two stage phasing conveyor which gauges the speed and spacing of the product. The TRAC collates and indexes the right amount of trays, and an articulated paddle sweeps the collation into the continuously moving product infeed conveyor of the SFR cartoner. The TRAC is also available as a stacking version for even greater versatility of product handling.
