The new presses are due to be installed by a group of highly skilled mecahnical engineers, who between them have over 20 years experience.
The Staffordshire-based firm has already invested in two new presses and a die-cutter in the past five months who were also installed by the same group of contract engineers causing minimal disruption and the latest purchase will further help the firm improve its product range.
'The performance and versatility of the Foliostar enables us to expand out overall capacity and increase service levels,' said managing director Nick Kirby.
'Furthermore, quality will be enhanced with the superior machine technology and engineering.'
Asitrade is represented by Bobst in the UK and the Foliostar 165 Matic can run at speeds of 9,000 corrugated and cartonboard sheets an hour.
The laminator includes automatic print, board feed and pallet insertion and can be converted to a sheet-to-web configuration if needed at a later date.
The machine complements the Klebb Cobra Express diecutter that was bought in January and installed by highly skilled contract engineers.
