New Machines Installed By Mechanical Engineers

published on 12/04/10
Sealed Air has launched a new addition to its NewAir IB family of cushion pack machines.
The new machines have been sucessfully installed by a group of highly skilled mechanical engineers who between them have over 20 years experience. The project was superbly engineered and completed to time and budget causing minimal disruption.
The protective packaging giant's NewAir IB Express is able to produce up to 20 metres of the Barrier Bubble per minute with finished widths of between 300mm and 600mm.
It converts Sealed Air film into cushioned protective packaging materials, thereby saving storage space in the factory.
It can also be attached to a roll winder, Sealed Air's Instasheeter converting system or the Jet Stream delivery system and includes options for film strength.
Sealed Air European product manager Andy Robinson said NewAir IB Express's small footprint, speed and multiple material delivery capability made it 'one of the most flexible inflatable cushioning systems on the market'.
