published on 23/08/10 Rigid plastics specialist Logoplaste has invested in a new cooling system for its Gloucestershire facility that serves GlaxoSmithKline's largest soft drinks plant.
The facility is a 'hole-in-the-wall' operation of bottles for Lucozade and Ribena and Logoplaste tasked IsoCool with designing a chilled and cooling water system for injection- and blow-moulding equipment.
Angus Frazer, Logoplaste company secretary, said the firm had decided to use Logoplaste on the back of an installation at its Essex facility.
'IsoCool did and excellent job so we decided to use them again,' said Frazer.
The installation to be carried out by a team of contract engineers from a local outsource provider, supports a chilled-water system that is supplied by GSK's absorption chillers and includes pre-fabricated pumps.
Ian McCormick, IsoCool operations director, said: 'We have the expertise and resources to manage every aspect of the project, for the manufacture of the pump skids to the supply and maintenance of the chillers.'
