published on 17/09/10 CRP Print & Packaging have enlisted the help of a team of skilled mechanical engineers which carry a vast knowledge of mechanical handling equipment after investing of around £3.5m (the largest in the company's history) six-colour KBA Rapida press.
Sales and marketing director Dev Brahmachari said “The Brands are in constant competition for retailer and consumer attention and the KBA Rapida will allow us to offer the ultimate in print quality in an ecologically responsible way.'
The Company has stated that the six-colour KBA Rapida press is expected to be installed by the mechancial engineers within the next two months.
CRP's press will include KBA's VariDryBlue system, which was launched at Ipex that is specified for point-of-sale products. The system is designed to dry high-gloss coatings while reducing power consumption by as much as 50%.
