Persis had identified a potential risk of metal contaminating its products as the runners on the metal racks it uses wear down and asked the local outsource engineering services company to install a system to monitor its products.
Operators can also select the right frequency for maximum contaminant detection and has a performance validation system the produces a record of contaminant, which can help towards BRC certification. Nazim Frazer Production Manager of Persis said: 'We wanted to rule out every possibility of metal in our products and the IQ3 has given us total peace of mind.'
