published on 29/09/10 A Film manufacturer has enlisted help from a local firm of engineering services to complete the successful installation of a new converting line in Bury.
Jason Plastics produces a range of films for companies such as Nike, Sony, Britvic and Kimberly-Clark and confirmed that the new line would increase its product offering for both new and existing customers.
The mechanical engineers installed the lines with minimum disruption and within allocated time.
Mr Brenton Walshaw, Managing Director said: 'It will especially be beneficial for manufacturers in the construction and packaging industries as we can produce full and strip micro-perforated shrink film for larger products such as insulation and timber,'
The micro-perforation process allows excess air to be released during the shrinking process for a more compact look.
