published on 18/01/12 A locally based engineering company has assisted in the installation project on a new Conveyor Systems for an unnamed customer.
The Conveyor Systems are designed to handle different types of fruit and vegetables. These are fed to a multihead weigher via two elevators with a support frame to vibratory feeders into stainless steel hoppers. The Conveyor Systems have to withstand acidic products, which is why stainless steel grade 316 is used within the support frame, and high molecular weight polyethylene with a boarder flex PU belt.
The experienced contract engineers have carried out the project installation to high standards. They provided a flexible service for this short project by implementing their three core principals of Safety, Time and Budget.
