published on 20/02/12 A Nottinghamshire company has had the latest new ancillary press kit installed at its Belfast and Leicester sites.
The investment in Nottingham includes a beta c combined inking and dampening temperature control unit. In addition the firm has taken on a beta f chemistry filtration device and ink mate, an ink agitator designed for UV ink users requiring consistent ink distribution.
The press has low make ready and a high run speed requirement, but its quality will only ever be as good as the products supplied to it, so controlling the water, chemistry and ink has a huge impact on the stability of the printing process.
Outsourced Engineers have been able to install and commission the equipment without taking away, existing engineer staff from commitments on a generally day to day basis. This bespoke service is both cost effective and a company has the ability to tap into a specialist knowledge which they may not have on staff. Bespoke projects can be controlled to meet the companies’ requirement and to their budgetary limits.
Conveyors have been modified to ensure the new installation runs smoothly without backlog and the modifications have enabled a lowing of initial costs, rather than purchasing new. The Outsource Engineers have been able to provide a full service, to enable the machinery to run to maximum efficiency.
