Production Upgrades include Conveyor re-design

A major European company has announced plans to invest €20 million in two cocoa and chocolate production facilities in Germany. The monies will be utilised to boost product lines at the sites, which were taken over in 2011. Production capacity is expected to increase to service the markets in Eastern Europe.
Upgrades at the sites will be within the production lines and will also include the expansion and integration of the two sites. Works to increase the ranges in bakery confectionary and ice-cream with chocolate and cocoa product will be at the forefront of the upgrading of the sites.
Outsourced Engineers will be project managing improvements to drive forward increased food safety and quality at the sites. This remit will assist the companies’ consistency of final product being offered to customers and also improve quality, safety and expected budget targets. By using Outsourced Engineers the individual elements of improvement and upgrade can be controlled as a whole turnkey solution meeting the company’s improvement and expansion program.
During the upgrade Conveyor Systems will re-designed, overhauled and improved to meet the changes in production layout. Where necessary, replacements will be integrated with existing equipment to keep to tight budgets, and downtime to a minimum but keep efficiency of the production line intact. By using specialists in this field who have clear communication and understanding of the task the upgrading will be completed on time to the company’s expectations.
