New Production Facility

A plant-based food manufacturer has invested £28.5M in a new production facility in Northamptonshire, UK.

The investment has doubled production capacity at the site to 150M litres as demand grows for almond, hazelnut, soya oat and coconut drinks. A company spokesman said that “the soya-baked drinks and alternatives to yoghurt demand is growing”

At the UK site the new buildings are now housing fresh production equipment and two filling lines. An accumulator has been installed on the line to ensure the smooth flow of product, and reduce the damage of packaging reducing waste.
